Purple Top White Globe Turnip is an heirloom, tender, warm-weather annual vegetable native to the United States and was first introduced in the 1881 D. M. Ferry seed catalog. At maturity, this plant reaches a height of 12-18” and features a 3-4" white fleshed turnip that has purple and white-skinned turnips. This plant can be grown in a container, is rabbit safe, tolerates light frost, is used in insecticides, and is both edible and medicinal!
